Well, this is an unusual blog for me. I never write about news gossip, other than my own little fiasco that happened a couple of months ago. However, this one really is close to my heart. Being that I am married to an athlete and I see more cheaters than any person should be allowed to in a lifetime; I was struck by this story. I was looking at the yahoo page and saw the whole Tiger Woods scandal story. I know!!! I’m late, this is not new news to many of you, but it is new to me. Anyhow, I mentioned this in my book Pretty for a black girl! I don’t know what it is about an athlete/entertainer that makes these individuals so assessable to cheating. I know that Fame and Celebrity tends to make some people crazy, and I also know you don’t have to be Famous or have any kind of Celebrity to cheat. On the other hand, when you are one! People are so ready and willing to do practically anything YOU let them. They can’t do it by themselves it takes to-to tangle. This is a subject I am hitting hard in my next book Refine. I think cheating is wrong period, I understand when you’re young you think it’s cool to have a man and a man on the side or vice a versa. Don’t act like you don’t understand that. Yes people make mistakes and yes people can change, but when you’re married and cheating I have no words for you. I don’t understand it; I don’t think people honor their commitment to GOD first and foremost. Marriage is taken too lightly- the statistics of marriage can tell you that. If you are not happy with your marriage don’t you think the other person deserves the right to know? ( That’s the person you so call- love) nine times out of ten the person that is doing the cheating would absolutely die if it was done to them. Can you imagine how embarrassed and disgusted his wife must be? Not only does she have to deal with it personally, she has to deal with it in-front of the whole world. L I want to know how you all feel about this statement by tiger it says
“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. … Although I am a well-known person and have made my career as a professional athlete, I have been dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means. For the last week my family and I have been hounded to expose intimate details of our personal lives. … Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn’t have to mean public confessions.”
Remember: All things done in the dark will come to the light

UR BLOG IS SO ON IT….I WAS LISTENING TO A SONG THE OTHER DAY AND THE LYRICS SAID “YOU CAN’T SAY I DONT LOVE YOU, JUST BECAUSE I CHEAT ON YOU” AND THE FACT THAT PEOPLE THINK IT’S OK TO CHEAT AND RUN AROUND WITH SOMEONE ELSE’S SPOUSE IS JUST BEYOND ME. AND ON THE TIGER WOODS SITUATION HE CHEATED FOR YEARS SO TO BE LIKE “I LET MY FAMILY DOWN” IS A … UNDERSTATEMENT. HE HAD NO REMORSE THE 1ST, 2ND OR 3RD TIME HE CHEATED, HE WASN’T THINKING OF HIS FAMILY THEN. CONCERN & REMORSE CAME AROUND WHEN HE GOT CAUGHT. AND TO BE A PUBLIC FIGURE YOUR BUSINESS IS GONNA GET PUT OUT. TABLOIDS DIDN’T START PRINTING YESTERDAY OR LAST WEEK THEY HAVE BEEN DOING IT FOR YEARS.
